Larry P. Smith
Larry P. Smith is a consumer attorney, concentrating his practice in the areas of Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair
Debt Collections Practices violations. He was employed as an attorney at Krohn & Moss, Ltd. from 1999 through November
of 2005. He left Krohn & Moss to become managing attorney of Larry P. Smith & Associates.
Mr. Smith has briefed and argued countless cases regarding consumer fraud and Fair Credit Reporting Act claims and
has argued successfully in the appellate courts for the State of Illinois on consumer rights issues, and has argued
before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Smith has tried over a dozen consumer fraud cases to verdict, 50 other
cases to verdict in Illinois, Georgia and Wisconsin and has arbitrated over 700 cases. Additionally, he has amicably
resolved over 300 consumer fraud, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act cases via settlement.
Mr. Smith was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1993 and has been admitted to the United States District Courts for
the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. He currently is admitted to practice in the Indiana and Wisconsin Federal
Courts, and the Eastern District of Missouri Federal Courts. Mr. Smith has been admitted pro hac vice in Arizona's Federal
District Court, Georgia state and federal courts, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana state courts in order
to represent consumers.
Mr. Smith earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 1993. He earned his B.A. degree in Political
Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 1990.
Mr. Smith has provided interviews and advice for consumer reporters on FOX TV and NBC News Target 5 reports and has
been a guest on WGN Radio's Extension 720 with Milt Rosenberg.
David Marco
David Marco has devoted the majority of his professional career to the practice of consumer litigation. He has many years of litigation experience
and currently represents consumers in cases arising out of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Illinois
Consumer Fraud & Deceptive Business Practices Act and other related statutes. Mr. Marco has successfully briefed and argued myriad motions
on a wide-range of issues, arbitrated countless cases, and tried many cases to verdict. He has also resolved countless cases by way of settlement.
Mr. Marco was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2000 and has been admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central
Districts of Illinois and the Northern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Marco has also

Zeshan Usman
Zeshan Usman has dedicated his legal career to protecting consumers and their rights. Mr. Usman's focus at Smith & Associates
is in the area of Bankruptcy Law. He holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Florida, a J.D., M.B.A. from the University of
Miami and has been a licensed Real Estate Broker, Mortgage Broker and General Contractor. Admitted to the Wisconsin and Florida bars,

Britt Cannon Johnson
Britt Cannon Johnson has experiences in consumer protection, personal injury, domestic relations, estate planning,
employment law, workers' compensation and other areas of law. He has represented consumers against banks and other credit
institutions in the areas of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. He
has worked for the Arkansas Attorney General and the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney. He also received Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Mr. Johnson is a member of the Arkansas Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. He earned his juris doctorate at the

D. Elizabeth Quigley has spent the majority of her legal career litigating personal injury cases. She worked for
a large firm in Los Angeles where she handled cases from inception through all stages of discovery. She has successfully
briefed and argued law and motion matters on a wide range of issues. She has arbitrated over 50 cases and resolved
innumerable cases by way of settlement.
Ms. Quigley also spent a significant portion of her career in her own practice working with clients in the fields of
corporate law, estate planning and general litigation matters.
Ms. Quigley was admitted to the California Bar in 1988 and the Nebraska State Bar in 2010. She earned her Juris
Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1988. She earned her B.A. degree in Accounting from California
State University Fullerton in 1985.
Tammy Hussin
Ms. Hussin graduated cum laude with her JD from Southwestern University School of Law in 1991, where she served as Note and
Comment Editor on the Law Review Staff. Ms. Hussin has many years of litigation experience, having taken and defended depositions,
tried cases and engaged in extensive motion practice. Ms. Hussin has also done transactional work, including securities transactions,
IPO's and drafting of numerous contractual agreements.
Ms. Hussin is licensed to practice in the states of California, Michigan and Colorado. She is also admitted to practice in the Federal
District Court of Colorado, as well as the Eastern, Northern, Western and Southern Federal District Courts of California.
Ms. Hussin is an active member of the bar in all three states.

Jessica Foos

Joan Landmann
Joan Landmann has focused her legal career in the areas of family law and civil litigation. Before entering the practice
of consumer rights, she represented clients in personal injury matters, contract disputes, custody issues and under the
Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Her experience in these matters includes all aspects of case management, from inception
to verdict.
Ms. Landmann earned her Juris Doctorate from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota and was admitted to the Missouri
Bar in 2005. While working on her JD, she represented clients through Hamline University's Public Defender's Clinic and
was distinguished on the Dean's List. Ms. Landmann also holds a B.A. in Human Resources Management from Lindenwood

David Steen
David Steen is a consumer rights attorney in Iowa. Previously, he focused his practice primarily in the areas of real estate
law and criminal defense, as well as civil litigation. His background includes work with the Iowa Legislature as well as the District
Attorney's Office, where Mr. Steen assisted with the County Attorney's misdemeanor docket.

Ashley Decker

and other related statutes. She currently defends debtors in counties throughout Illinois in relation to breach of contract claims.
Ms. Decker was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2009 and was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2010. She has also recently sat
for the Michigan Bar and awaits results. Ms. Decker was admitted the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2009.
Ms. Decker earned her Juris Doctor, with Honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2009. Upon her graduation, she also obtained
certificates in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and in Public Interest Law. While at Chicago-Kent College of Law,
