Todd M. Friedman

Mr. Friedman concentrates his practice in consumer litigation, including fair debt collection, lemon law, fair credit reporting and truth in lending litigation. Prior to opening his practice, Mr. Friedman was the managing attorney at a top consumer litigation firm, beginning in July of 2002. Mr. Friedman was admitted to both the Illinois Bar and the California Bar in 2002. He has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District for the Central District of Illinois and the US District for the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Central Districts of California. In November of 2005, Mr. Friedman argued in front of the Ninth Circuit court of appeals. Mr. Friedman earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in 2001 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998.

On March 20, 2006, Mr. Friedman won a trial against Mercedes Benz USA in Los Angeles County in the case of Isip v. Mercedes for Lemon Law and Breach of Express and Implied Warranties under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Mr. Friedman also successfully defended Mercedes' appeal of the same trial (For a viewing of this opinion please refer to http://www.morelaw.com/verdicts/case.asp?n=B192382&s=CA&d=33915).

On August 4, 2005, Mr. Friedman prevailed in a trial for Breach of Warranty under Mag-Moss in the case of Brunner v. Chrysler in San Diego County. Mr. Friedman also successfully defended the appeal in this case. In 2006, Mr. Friedman won a Lemon Law trial against Honda in San Bernardino Superior Court in the case of Nomer Medina v. Honda. In November of 2007, Mr. Friedman won another jury trial against Honda in the Superior Court of Orange County for breach of warranty in the case of James Latham v. Honda.

Cynthia Levin is a member of the firm of The Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman, P.C., and has been a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars since 1975. She graduated from Temple University, magna cum laude and from Rutgers Law School, magna cum laude and received the Prentice Hall award for distinguished work in Taxation. She taught Business Law and Income Taxation at Stockton College and Rowan University. She practices in the areas of consumer law, estate and trusts and elder law planning.
